AnnouncementsWelcoming 2011

December is the best time of the year. We had the chance to introspect, what we succeeded on, and what we failed on, and how we should improve. We also had the chance to face the new year and set a respectable goal.

Every 6 months, in June and December, we made major revisions to our company policies and procedures. This month, we moved all our documents from Google Docs to Google Sites. The new Google Sites contain complete policies and procedures (which become ever more important with the increasing number of employees), the organization structure for 2011, and job descriptions for each position. Once socialized, we’ll hold a Q&A session in January with all of our employees.

We formalized the four external divisions for 2011. They are Outsourcing, Government, Enterprise, and Software, and each has its own revenue / growth target. The two internal divisions are our engines: HR and Technology.

Outsourcing division, headed by Eric Rusli, aims to add 40 more developers working for our outsourcing clients via our service marks KiranaTama and Qorser. Government division, headed by Deny Nursyam, and Enterprise division, headed by Abdul Karim, each aims for a respectable revenue target with set strategies and budget. The Software division, headed by Thomas Muliawan, aims to complete and launch our horizontal applications by this year, and make our products known.

The Technology division, headed by William Notowidagdo, will be strengthen. Some new measures are introduced such as separation of QA unit from the Project Management unit, and introduction of a Maintenance Unit to handle problematic projects. The HR division, headed by Feby Artandi, aims to be able to recruit when needed (such as by strike partnership with universities around Bandung), keeping employees happy (retain them longer than a year or two), and make English training compulsory (both grammar and conversation) to help propell our Outsourcing division to get to the next level.

That’s it. 2011 here we come!
